Resolution 2002-4

Resolution 2002-4 of the Real Estate Council of Alberta

WHEREAS by section 5 of the Rules under the Real Estate Act, R.S.A. 2000, Chapter R-5 (the “Act”), the Real Estate Council of Alberta (the “Council”) has the power, duty and responsibility to prescribe, adopt and approve the examination (the “Mortgage Agent Examination”) to be written by a person who wishes to apply for a licence as a mortgage agent;

AND WHEREAS by section 5 of the Rules under the Act, the Council has the power, duty and responsibility to prescribe, adopt and approve the passing grade of the Mortgage Agent Examination;

AND WHEREAS by Section 15 of the Act, the Council has the authority to delegate its powers, duties and responsibilities relating to the Mortgage Agent Examination;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT: 

1) The Council hereby delegates to the Executive Director its power, duty and responsibility to prescribe, adopt and approve the Mortgage Agent Examination.

2) The Council hereby delegates to the Executive Director its power, duty and responsibility to prescribe, adopt and approve the passing grade for the Mortgage Agent Examination.
