Transferring Brokerages in September

Before you transfer an industry professional to your brokerage in September, ask them if they have already renewed their licence for 2019-2020. If they already renewed, their transfer will cancel their renewal, renewal fees will be refunded, and they will have to re-complete their renewal with your brokerage by September 30.

If possible, delay brokerage transfers until after September 30, or advise professionals who want to join your brokerage to hold off on renewing until they complete their transfer.

Education Reminder & Tips

• For information about which courses you must complete for re-licensing and the status of each course, go to the “Licensing” tab in your myRECA account.
• To enrol in a course, log in to your myRECA account and go to the “Education” tab.
• Please refrain from using the Internet Explorer browser for RECA re-licensing courses. We recommend using Google Chrome or Firefox.
• If you forgot your username and/or password for myRECA, you can easily retrieve and reset the information by going to myRECA and clicking “forgot username” and/or “forgot password”
