Industry Alert: Judy Al-Dayeh barred from Industry for 24 months

|

To protect consumers and uphold the professional standards and integrity of the industry, Alberta’s real estate regulator, the Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA), is advising the public that Judy Al-Dayeh is ineligible to apply for a RECA licence for a period of 24 months.

On October 15, 2025, a Hearing Panel (Panel) determined that Judy Al-Dayeh engaged in conduct deserving of sanction under s.42(b) of the Real Estate Act Rules. The Panel found that Al-Dayeh participated in fraudulent or unlawful activities in connection with the provision of services and breached the Rules on several occasions.

Specifically, the Panel found that Ms. Al-Dayeh:

  • Drafted and forged a signature on a false employment letter
  • Created false documents
  • Provided the false documents to obtain a credit limit increase on her personal line of credit.

For further details and the specific facts regarding this misconduct, please see the full Hearing Panel written decision.

It is of the utmost importance to RECA that the public has confidence in the real estate industry. A profession’s most valuable asset is its collective reputation and the confidence it inspires. Licensees must understand how important it is to follow the Real Estate Act and its Rules and act honestly to maintain the public’s confidence in the integrity of the real estate profession.

At the time of misconduct, Al-Dayeh was registered with Arteam Realty Inc o/a Royal LePage Arteam Realty (“Royal LePage”). Ms. Al-Dayeh has not been licensed or registered with a brokerage since January 23, 2023.
