Summary of Activities Since April

Education Divestment

The Commercial Real Estate and Commercial Property Manager Industry Council worked with the other industry councils and the Board to get the education framework approved for consultation. The framework consists of the exam blueprint, prelicensing education philosophy, and course and course provider requirements. Feedback so far has been overwhelmingly positive. Work has started on the competencies, which will be consulted on and shared with stakeholders later this year.

Election Bylaw Criteria

The Industry Council worked with the Board to come up with the wording for bylaws around elections for Industry Councils. Bylaws must be approved by the Minister.

Complaint Trends and Outcomes

The Industry Council discussed current complaint trends and how they are affecting the industry and the public.
