RECA ensures consumers are protected when using the services of real estate, mortgage, property, or condominium managers. RECA can hold hearings and discipline licensees for breaches under the Real Estate Act.
RECA withholds the publication of decisions until the 30-day right of appeal period expires, except where except where a matter is egregious and earlier publication is in the interest of consumer protection. Decisions will remain on reca.ca for five years. For older decisions, submit a Request for Disciplinary History form.
