Today, RECA submitted its formal response to the Minister of Service Alberta and Red Tape Reduction, regarding Deloitte’s independent review of our organization. We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the report and view it as an important step in our commitment to becoming ‘best in class.’ We have reviewed the recommendations carefully and know that there is a lot of work ahead as we work diligently on their implementation. Where legislative or regulatory changes are required, we look forward to working with the Government of Alberta and industry partners.
Our commitment remains the same: protecting consumers, supporting a fair and trusted real estate marketplace, and regulating in the public interest. As this work moves forward, we will continue to keep licensees informed and communicate any changes that affect your practice.
