Melenda "Mel" Simmons - Real Estate Licence Suspended

Calgary, Alberta - On April 19, 2017, the Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA) suspended the real estate licence of Melenda Simmons. RECA suspended Ms. Simmons for refusing to cooperate with a person conducting an investigation.

As a result of this suspension, Melenda Simmons may not trade in real estate in Alberta. Her suspension will continue until the executive director is satisfied she has cooperated with the investigation.

Ms. Simmons was most recently registered as a real estate associate with Re/Max Elite in Edmonton. 

Note: On April 20, 2017, Ms. Simmons' licence was reinstated after the Executive Director deemed her to have complied with RECA's request.
