All industry professional authorizations expire on September 30 each year. To remain authorized, real estate, mortgage and real estate appraisal professionals must renew their authorization on or before September 30.
Brokers can renew beginning August 21 through their myRECA accounts by clicking the Renew button under the My Brokerage tab.
Appraisers can renew beginning August 21 through their myRECA accounts by clicking the Renew button under the Licensing tab. Follow the steps and pay your fee, and you’ll know you’re renewed when the circle next to your licence turns green.
Associates and associate brokers can renew beginning August 28 through their myRECA accounts. To renew, click the Renew button under the Licensing tab, follow the steps and pay your fee. You’ll know you’re renewed when the circle next to your licence turns green. Associates and associate brokers cannot renew until their broker has renewed the brokerage licence.
Real estate professionals who trade in residential and/or rural real estate must complete the Real Estate Update 2017 course prior to renewing. To enroll in the course, log in to your myRECA account and go to the Education tab. You’ll find the course in the Course Catalogue.
Historical REP Requirements
Industry professionals MAY sometimes have to complete REP requirements from previous years if they have let their registration lapse and want to re-instate their authorization within the 3 year period their licence remains valid.
