Change of Appraisal Association or Designation
Real estate appraiser/candidate industry members must keep the Real Estate Council of Alberta informed of their current appraisal association(s) and designation(s).
If you change your appraisal association or your professional designation, you must provide RECA with:
- a written request to update your appraisal association(s) and/or designation(s) (send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org)
- an original letter of good standing sent directly from your professional association to RECA
- a $55.00 processing fee (submit payment through your online appraiser account accessed through myRECA, or by cheque sent to RECA).
Upon receipt of the above items, RECA will make the changes and notify you once complete. You can confirm your changed association or designation within your myRECA account.
