New Home Buyer’s Guide Helps Albertans Navigate Home Buying
Calgary, Alberta - Buying a home is the biggest financial commitment most Albertans will ever make, and now, the regulatory body for real estate, mortgage brokerage, and real estate appraisal professionals in Alberta has launched a comprehensive Home Buyer’s Guide to help.
The Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA) believes consumers that are knowledgeable about the home buying process are better protected. To that end, RECA’s new Home Buyers Guide, www.homebuyersguidealberta.ca, provides consumers with neutral information about the home buying process, and working with real estate and mortgage brokerage professionals.
The guide provides key questions for consumers to consider as they begin the home buying process, and takes them through the process – from finding licensed real estate and mortgage professionals, to making the offer, negotiating, and what they can expect on possession day.
www.homebuyersguidealberta.ca will help consumers make informed decisions, for positive real estate experiences.
The Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA) is an independent, non-government agency, responsible for governing real estate, mortgage broker, property management, and real estate appraisal industry professionals under Alberta’s Real Estate Act. RECA’s mandate is to protect consumers and to provide services that enhance and improve the industry and the business of industry professionals.
