WHEREAS,
Section 12 of the Real Estate Act, confirms the Real Estate Council of Alberta (the “Council”) has the authority to make rules respecting the eligibility requirements for a person to acquire and retain an authorization.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
1. Section 23 of the Rules is replaced with the following:
“23 (1) An industry member must satisfy all applicable professional development requirements prescribed by Council to retain a licence issued to the industry member by the Real Estate Council of Alberta.
(2) The onus is on the industry member to be informed of any applicable professional development requirements.”
