WHEREAS by Rule 52(6) under the Real Estate Act, S.A. 1995, c. R-4.5 (the “Act”), the Real Estate Council of Alberta (the “Council”) has the power, duty and responsibility to prescribe, adopt and approve the form and content of the Alberta Real Estate Insurance Exchange Agreement and insurance policy;
AND WHEREAS by Section 15(1) of the Act, the Council has the authority to delegate its powers, duties and responsibilities relating to the Alberta Real Estate Insurance Exchange;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
The Council hereby delegates to the Executive Director its power, duty and responsibility to prescribe, adopt and approve the form and content of the Alberta Real Estate Insurance Exchange Agreement and insurance policy.
