Change in Association or Designation

Real estate appraiser/candidate industry members must keep RECA informed of their current professional association(s) and designation(s). If changes are made to this information, the following must be provided to RECA:

  • A written request to update the appraiser’s professional association(s) and/or designation(s);
  • An original letter of good standing sent directly from the industry member's professional association to RECA; and,
  • A $52.50 processing fee (payment through the RECA Online licensing system or by cheque).

Upon receipt of the above items, RECA will effect the changes and notify the appraiser once complete.

Real estate appraisers can confirm that their professional association(s) and designation(s) are current (or have been changed) through the “Search for an Industry Member” function on RECA’s website by searching their own name.
