Crystal Lucuik - Lifetime Withdrawal from Industry

Calgary, Alberta – On January 19, 2012, Crystal Lucuik, mortgage associate registered with Concord Mortgage Group at all material times and currently unregistered, applied to withdraw from industry membership in accordance with s.54 of the Real Estate Act.

At the time of her application, Ms. Lucuik was the subject of conduct proceedings to determine whether

  • she provided false and/or misleading information to her brokerage so that she could collect commissions in relation to mortgage deals; and.
  • she accessed the brokerage’s Filogix system and copied numerous credit applications of clients of the brokerage without the knowledge and consent of the clients and without the knowledge and consent of the brokerage.

At the time of the withdrawal application approval, there had been no disciplinary hearing, admissions or findings of fact.

By virtue of operation of Part Three of the Real Estate Act, conduct proceedings are discontinued.  Ms. Lucuik’s application to withdraw was approved by the Real Estate Council of Alberta and results in a voluntary lifetime prohibition from industry membership.
